Quixotical Phrases with a Stroke of Luminescence

No one can create something so quixotic without a paintbrush surrounded by an aura of Luminescence.

"There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot, but there are others who, thanks to their art and intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun."

-Pablo Picasso

Long Time, No talk

It’s been a while.  When I first started this, I created it for the sole purpose of posting some art, conversations, and random musing about the little things in life. I’ve shyed away from this because it is public and some of my experiences with writing in public places have been less than satisfactory, in fact, they’ve been a disaster. But, I’m resolved that people should have an idea of what’s going on, even if it’s just a little one. After happening upon a similar blog of a person I know, I realized another side to that individual that I never would have dreamed was possible.

I suppose that’s the ignorance of a young women on her way in the world.

Or not.

I’m not on my way so much as completely immobilized at the moment. Give me some time, give me a fresh start away from Luther College and I believe I’ll be home free: I just need to get through this semester first.

  • Moi: whenever you'd like to go
  • Moi: i'm a floating cloud right now
  • Moi: i shall go where the wind takes me

(Un)Speechless

  • Pedro: You help me write well.
  • Rion: How so?
  • Pedro: I think of you and the creative juices start flowing. I talk to you and they are uncontrollable.
  • Rion: That's good; I'm glad I could help.
  • Pedro: We help eachother...

…never give up and just take the bad stuff as it comes the best you can cause it will get better. It always will. Even though life changes and you lose friends as you grow and you gain friends as you grow, you learn something from each of them and you treasure it forever. You become a better and stronger person from their time with you no matter how you ended the friendship. Losing loved ones is a hard thing to go through. Sometimes you don’t even get to say good-bye, sometimes they hurt you before the leave your life, sometimes you don’t even realize that they’re leaving until they’re gone, but you must focus on what they taught you while they were with you and how you have grown as a person because of knowing them.
